Propose a Legislative Guide Amendment

IEA’s Legislative Guide directs the union's education policy work at the state level. The guide is structured around six principles ensuring excellence in public education: student achievement, professional development, school/community relations, new teacher support, professional advocacy, and adequate funding and compensation. Any IEA member may propose an amendment to the Legislative Guide, but must secure the sponsorship of a sitting delegate at IEA's annual Delegate Assembly to put the proposal formally before the body.
