The Idaho Education Association is a democratic, member-driven organization. Our governance structure ensures that educators—not outside interests—set the direction of their union. Members draft, debate, and adopt the IEA’s foundational policies and positions through open, participatory processes such as the annual Delegate Assembly and the work of elected committees and councils.
