Accounts Receivable Business Membership Associate (Temporary-to-Hire)

The Idaho Education Association (IEA) is hiring a temporary-to-hire Accounts Receivable Business Membership Associate to support our membership and business operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, accurate, and service-minded, comfortable working with numbers, invoices, payments, and member account questions in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Process and record cash receipts, including credit card payments, Children’s Fund, PACE, and other payments.
• Post payroll membership payments for individual members.
• Generate individual invoicing for members and miscellaneous business invoices.
• Run billing statements.
• Reconcile individual membership accounts with local balances to ensure accuracy.
• Process refund requests and prepare information for template transfers as needed.
• Communicate with local leadership regarding account statuses and assist with resolving discrepancies.
• Provide backup support for HQ coverage (phones and visitors) as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of clerical experience (college coursework or vocational/technical school may substitute for up to one year).
• Academic bookkeeping training or one (1) year of bookkeeping experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).
• Ability to learn NEA360, IMS, and other NEA/IEA systems.
• Strong math skills, attention to detail, and excellent organization.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed and able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of (or ability to learn) NEA/IEA Constitution, bylaws, and related policies.
Pay Range
$37,570–$69,070 (annualized)
