What’s happening: You have until Dec. 26 to register for IEA Lobby Day, which will take place Jan. 18-19, 2026.

Important!: Lobby Day events are open to members who are Political Action Committee for Education (PACE) contributors only.

• The Lobby Day Training and Dinner on Jan. 18 will prep members for effective advocacy at the Statehouse by providing guidance on key issues, messaging, and how to engage with legislators. The dinner is your chance to connect with fellow members from around the state while building the skills and confidence needed to speak up for Idaho’s public schools.

• Join more than 150 educators at Lobby Day on Jan. 19 as they share their top education priorities for the 2026 Legislative Session with state lawmakers.

Deadline is approaching fast: The deadline to register is Dec. 26. To register, email Kimi Weaver at [email protected]

Why it matters: Lobby Day is one of the most important days of public education advocacy for the year and an annual highlight for many IEA members, allowing them to bring their stories, experiences and concerns straight to legislators. Members have one-on-one conversations and share personal stories that put a human face on policy.
