NEA Member Benefits has rolled out a new program that is exceptional and has the potential to save IEA/NEA members lots of money. It is called NEA Shop & Dine and replaces the NEA Discount Marketplace.
To give you an idea of some of the savings, with the dining discount you can go to Flying Pie Pizza in Boise for $18.41 where it would usually cost $30. Quite a savings, yes?
Here are the highlights of the program:
- IEA Members get $1,000 in Saving Dollars per calendar year to use on the NEA Shop & Dine website. The $1,000 is not applied all at once. The discount on each program is a percentage of the amount spent as agreed upon by the business from which you are purchasing. The categories where you can spend your travel dollars are as follows:
- Dining
- Gift Cards
- Cruises
- Car Rentals
- Resorts
- Hotels
- Guided vacations
- IEA Members can also earn cashback on purchases made at select stores made through an app called Shopr Rewards. Here are some examples (there are many more):
- Albertsons
- Fred Meyer
- Etsy
- Subway
- Game Stop
- Famous Footwear
- Lowes
- Home Depot
- Ulta
- Walgreens
- Panera
- Paramount Plus
- Sling
- IEA Members can earn an additional $1,000 in Savings Dollars by booking flights through the NEA Travel Program.
