The big savings: National Education Association Member Benefits has revamped some of their savings tools so you can get even bigger discounts on the items you’re already buying.
Why it matters: Between dining out, grocery runs, and everyday errands, IEA members can now save hundreds of dollars a year, all without changing where regularly shop and eat.
Three ways to save: The discounts are applied throughout three major categories: dining, shopping, and gift cards and travel.
• Dining: You can access discounted Restaurant.com certificates at local restaurants. For just one example, a $30 pizza at Flying Pie in Boise costs $18.41 through the discount program — and you can find restaurants in your area, whether you live in Athol or Idaho Falls or Kimberly.
• Shopping: Download the Shopr Rewards app and earn instant cash back at more than 300 national brands — up to 10% off (or more, in some cases). Big brands include mainstays like Albertsons, Fred Meyer, Home Depot, Paramount+ Walgreens and even Etsy.
• Gift cards and travel: Your Savings Dollars (formerly known as “Travel Dollars”) can be used for gift cards covering groceries, gas, retail, entertainment, hotels, cruises, car rentals, resorts and guided vacations.
How it works: Through the program, you’re allocated $1,000 in Savings Dollars per calendar year, applied as a percentage discount across buying categories.
• Bonus! You can earn an additional $1,000 in Savings Dollars by booking flights through the NEA Travel Program.
Get started:
• Log into neamb.com/shopdine (you will need to create an account if you do not have one)

• Choose dining, shopping rewards, or gift cards and start saving.
