IEA Election Update: RA Delegate Voting is Underway; Board of Directors Ballot Set

Voting to select Idaho’s delegates to the National Education Association’s 2024 Representative Assembly (RA) is underway.

Twenty-four candidates have put their names in the hat for an expected 15 Idaho seats at NEA RA in Portland this July. On Wednesday, IEA members in zones with contested elections (Zone B, Zone G, Zone H, I and Zone J, K, L) were emailed an online ballot for the appropriate race. Balloting closes at 5 p.m. (MST), Thursday, Feb. 20.  

Also, the ballot for IEA’s coming Board of Directors election is finalized. Twelve candidates are vying to fill 10 seats on the board up for election during the 2025 election cycle. The online election will be held April 23-May 1. All IEA members will receive an online ballot via email for the vote.
