IEA Classroom Swap Shop Is Back!

Whether you’re trying to clean out your classroom, stock up on supplies (or both!), you’ll find what you need.
Published: June 12, 2025

What’s happening: The Idaho Education Association is hosting the second annual Classroom Swap Shop event in June, offering educators a sustainable way to refresh classroom supplies.

Why it matters: Educators can donate gently used classroom items and shop for free materials, reducing waste and stretching budgets ahead of the next school year. IEA members may attend along with a guest.

Details:

  • When: June 13 (donation drop-off) and June 14 (shopping day, 9am-4pm)
  • Where: IEA Headquarters, 620 N 6th St, Boise
  • Available items: Books, educational modalities, games, classroom decor, fidgets, and more
  • Register and learn more

The bottom line: This recycling initiative helps teachers stock their classrooms with quality materials at no cost while promoting sustainability in education — and it’s fun and free!
