IEA Board of Directors Meet Your Union's Leaders

The IEA Board of Directors serves as the governing body that sets the association’s strategic direction, adopts policies, and oversees the responsible use of member resources. Board members are elected by their peers through IEA’s democratic election process, ensuring that educators have a direct voice in shaping the union’s priorities. The board is composed of statewide officers, regional representatives, and designated constituency seats that reflect the diversity of Idaho’s education community. Together, they represent thousands of educators across the state and work to advance policies that strengthen public schools. Through their leadership, the board ensures that the IEA remains member-driven, transparent, and focused on supporting Idaho’s students and educators.
