What’s happening: Have an idea for a class that you really want to share with your fellow educators? Submit your proposal now for the 2026 Summer Institute, hosted by the Idaho Education Association’s Center for Teaching and Learning.
The fine print: There are a few things you need to know to get started:
• Proposed classes can be 90 minutes, three hours or six hours.
• Deadline is Feb. 2.
• This year’s Summer Institute theme is “Clues to Excellence: Unlocking the Secrets of Success.”
• Summer Institute will take place from July 28-31 at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston.
Why it’s important: The conference is the premier professional development event of the year for educators.
• It’s free for IEA members, including lodging and meals.
• Non-member educators may attend for a fee (or join IEA).
• All classes are developed and taught by educators, for educators.
• Participants can earn up to four credits from Idaho State University at the event.
