Make the World Your Classroom with NEA’s Global Learning Fellowship

The gist: Applications are open for the National Education Association Foundation Global Learning Fellowship. This transformative, fully-funded fellowship is designed to boost your global teaching skills and bring global competence into your classroom. 

What happens during the fellowship?: Members receive professional development over the course of the year, including: 

• Online coursework and monthly webinars 
• Group mentoring 
• Independent study plus group reflection and discussion 
• Two-day fall professional development conference 
• Capstone project tied to global learning goals 
• 10-day international field study in South Africa to experience another country’s education system and culture up close — with nearly all costs covered

Act fast!: Deadlines are rapidly approaching for the next fellowship cycle.

• March 24 information session 
• Applications open through April 6 (you must register in the NEA Foundation’s system by April 2 to apply) 
• Selected applicants will be notified in August.
