There’s still time for educators — located anywhere in the state — to take part in Summer Institute’s online programming. The virtual option ensures no educator misses out on this premier learning experience.

The big picture: IEA’s flagship professional development event is hosted in two formats:

  • In-person: July 30-Aug. 2 at Lewis-Clark State College, with the potential to earn up to four credits through Idaho State University.
  • Online: July 30-31, with the potential to earn two credits.

Important to note: Both formats share the theme “The Stories That Shape Us.” Summer Institute is free for members. Not a member? You can pay a fee to attend or join IEA here.

Registration timeline:

  • In-person deadline: July 7 (or when capacity is reached)
  • Online-only deadline: July 15
  • Note: In-person tickets are nearly sold out and may close before July 7, but a waiting list will be available.

How to register:

  1. Visit the Summer Institute page on IEA’s website
  2. Use event password: ACCESS25
  3. Apply code INSPIRE25 for free member tickets

The bottom line: With in-person spots filling fast, the online option provides flexibility for Idaho educators to access quality professional development from anywhere in the state.
