Children's Fund Silent Auction

The IEA Children’s Fund Silent Auction returns to the 2026 Delegate Assembly — and it’s one of the most meaningful ways delegates can make a direct difference for Idaho students and families. Every bid supports the Idaho Education Association Children’s Fund, which provides emergency assistance to students facing hardship when it matters most.

The IEA Children's Fund Silent Auction depends on one thing above all else: the generosity and creativity of IEA locals. Right now, we’re asking members and locals across the state to begin collecting items to donate to the auction and help ensure another successful fundraiser for Idaho students.

Every donated item helps raise critical funds for the Idaho Education Association Children’s Fund, which provides emergency support to students facing unexpected hardship.

Start Collecting Donations Now

Start now by identifying and collecting items your local can donate to the Silent Auction. Popular and high-impact items include:

  • Gift baskets (classroom supplies, self-care, coffee, local favorites)
  • Experiences (vacation stays, tickets, lessons, tours)
  • Locally made goods, art, or crafts
  • Donations from community businesses
  • Educator-themed or school-spirit items

Items of all sizes and values are welcome — creativity counts!

Donation Registration & Drop-Off Details

Register and drop off donated items on the first day of Delegate Assembly:

Friday, April 17
7 - 9:30 a.m.

Please plan to arrive early enough to register your items and complete drop-off before Delegate Assembly sessions begin.

Each contribution — whether through a donation or a donated auction item — helps continue this tradition of compassionate, direct impact in communities across Idaho.

IEA Children's Fund

Since its start in 1997, the IEA Children’s Fund has provided more than $1.5 million in grants to children and families across Idaho who are facing extraordinary needs. That support has reached approximately 4,600 students and families, helping cover essentials like clothing, food, school supplies, and health-related needs so kids can stay focused on learning.
