Universal Design of Learning | online course

Universal Design of Learning (UDL) is a tool used to engage students in learning. UDL explores the why, what, and how of learning and engaging students while in the classroom. This course is designed to help educators design instruction using UDL to hook students and engage them in learning while in your classroom. UDL is used to improve and optimize teaching and learning for all in the classroom. These guidelines offer a set of concrete suggestions that can be applied to any discipline or domain to ensure that all learners can access and participate in meaningful, and challenging learning opportunities. Learn how to apply this in your classroom. This class is part of the Center for Teaching and Learning’s Bite-size Learning Series. Once you’ve attended and fully participated in 7.5 hours of class time in the Learning Series and completed the coursework, you can earn a FREE credit from Idaho State University.
