Managing Difficult Student Behaviors – Beyond the Basics – Meridian

Managing Difficult Student Behaviors – Beyond the Basics – Meridian

Please join us in learning classroom management, beyond the basics we are all taught

You’ve got the basics of classroom, time and transition management, but still struggle with some disruptive and repetitive student behaviors every year. Learn how to look deeper at the “Language” underneath the behavior, what it’s communicating so that you can apply the appropriate response instead of just reacting to manage it in the moment. You’ll learn your place in the chain, how to diagnose the function of the behavior, consider sensory input and needs as well as collaborate with others to address a specific issue you are or have dealt with in your work.
