About this event

Creating Safe Spaces for LGBTQ+ Students and Families is a professional development course designed to help educators create spaces for all students, but primarily for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender students. The suggested audience for this class is anyone any everyone who works with students, young people or other adults. Sexual orientation and gender identity are being recognized and accepted earlier in children and the knowledge this presentation will impart is instrumental in creating an atmosphere of trust and acceptance for students, families, educators, and communities. **one credit is available through ISU for this class** **Masks are required while attending this class**
