IEA – Advanced Professional Certification for Career Ladder

Learn what it takes to move to the Advanced Professional Rung on the Career ladder and increase your salary.

Idaho teacher compensation law changed this year to establish an Advanced Professional step on the career ladder to bring more money to veteran teachers. There are, however, more accountability requirements that go with this. This class will walk you through, in detail, what is required to be considered Advanced Professional for movement on the state Career Ladder and give you strategies for how you can best position yourself to do that. Have your last year’s evaluation and your IPLP handy when you take this class because we’ll be going through them to help you create a plan for next year.
