Educators: What Do You Wish You Knew?

December 13, 2024

Remember the days before you took your first job as an educator? If you could go back and share what you know now, what would you say to yourself?

Idaho Education Association, in conjunction with the Idaho State Department of Education, is asking educators from around the state to answer that question as we collect information for the upcoming legislative session. Your answers will help key decision makers at the state level create policy for the next generation of educators.

HELP IMPROVE RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION NOW

“IEA is often called upon to give input to elected officials,” said IEA Political Director Chris Parri. “As the largest union in the state and the most influential voice in education, IEA member feedback is a powerful tool in shaping policies that will impact educators well into the future. This is your chance to make your voice heard in those critical behind-the-scenes conversations.”

Your union is looking for honest responses; to make that easier, your answers will be anonymized before sharing them with policymakers. Please be sure to turn in your responses by Jan. 3. Click here to submit your response
