Center for Teaching and Learning Announces Its Fall Learning Series Class Lineup

October 4, 2024

The Center for Teaching and Learning recently announced its Fall Learning Series .  More than a dozen 90-minute “bite-size” classes focusing on topics from dyslexia to ethics to retirement planning are available this autumn for educators.   “We work to bring relevant, timely classes to help educators build their professional practice and give them the support they need to be successful educators,” said Linda Jones, executive director of the CTL. “This fall’s classes are among our most popular.”

The IEA-affiliated CTL (ctlidaho.org) designs and delivers professional development for educators’ evolving professional responsibilities with the aim of attracting and retaining quality educators in Idaho’s public schools. Also, the CTL’s mentoring program pairs new-to-the-profession educators with experienced mentors eager to pass their wisdom on to the next generation. CTL’s trainers are experienced educators who have developed curriculum in their various areas of expertise. Half, full, and two-day training options are offered in-person or virtually throughout the school year, and most provide the opportunity to earn professional development credit.
