Board Nominations Open Until Feb. 12; RA Delegates Ballot is Set

January 27, 2024

IEA members are stepping forward to represent their colleagues in the work of the Idaho Education Association at the state and national levels.

Nominations for candidates to fill six seats on IEA’s May Board of Directors will be accepted until Feb. 12. However, nominations for delegates to the National Education Association’s 2024 Representative Assembly (RA) closed on Friday.

“Each of these engagement opportunities are perfect examples of your union’s fundamental nature as a member-driven, democratic association that fights for the issues you help to define,” said Layne McInelly, IEA President. “Your participation and engagement can only make us stronger and even more reflective of the priorities you are passionate about.”
