CBC 1: Bargaining 101

When: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 14

What you’ll learn: Perfect for beginners or as a refresher! This introductory class provides an overview of the bargaining process, including how to form a successful team, gather member input, create strategies, and understand timelines. Learn the fundamentals that set the foundation for successful negotiations.

CBC 2: Bargaining and Contract Law

When: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 21

What you’ll learn: Ideal for beginners or as a refresher!
Dive into the legal side of bargaining with an overview of contract and negotiation laws specific to Idaho educators, school districts, and bargaining teams. Gain essential knowledge to ensure your negotiations stay on solid legal ground.

CBC 3: Finance

When: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 11

What you’ll learn: This intermediate-level class breaks down Idaho school finance basics, explores new and changing laws, and examines their implications on bargaining. A must for teams looking to negotiate effectively with financial data in mind.

CBC 4: Intermediate Organizing

When: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 25

What you’ll learn: During this intermediate-level class, you’ll discover how to build and execute organizing campaigns that support bargaining goals and help you win big for your members. This session equips teams with practical strategies to mobilize members and strengthen your bargaining position.

CBC 5: Advanced Finance for Teams

When: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 25

What you’ll learn: This advanced class is for teams only. Bring your full team together to take a deep dive into your district’s finances. This hands-on session helps teams analyze state financial data specific to their district and collaborate on strategies in real-time. Requires full team attendance in one location.
