Collective Bargaining Training

About 30 Idaho Education Association members recently gathered at IEA Headquarters in Boise for the third annual Regional Bargaining Collaboration. All locals from Region 8 and three from Region 3 attended, honing their collective bargaining skills in the process. IEA holds regular trainings for members who are interested in collective bargaining. To learn more, visit the collective bargaining page and check out the trainings section.

SPARKS

ESPs at a SPARKS retreat last year. SPARKS is one of the many support and development options available to ESPs through Idaho Education Association.

Lobbying Congress

Idaho Education Association Executive Director Paul Stark, President Layne McInelly, and Governance Organizer Peggy Hoy recently visited Washington, D.C., to lobby Congress on behalf of Idaho educators. The IEA team pushed for gun safety, education funding and the Secure Rural Schools Act.
