Representative Lance Clow (R – Twin Falls) reintroduced a voucher bill in House Education Thursday morning, modifying a bill the committee previously voted down. Clow’s proposal would siphon 80% of the per-pupil funding for students to leave public schools and apply that money toward private school tuition. 20% would be left behind to cover existing costs incurred by the district. The bill will go before the committee next week for a hearing.
