As Idaho’s most important and influential education experts, the members of the Idaho Education Association work hard to elect pro-education candidates to local and state offices with influence over education.
The heart of that effort is IEA’s Political Action Committee for Education or PACE.
PACE is our state’s most effective tool for electing pro-public education candidates to office. Entirely made up of IEA members, PACE amplifies the voice of educators. Non-partisan and unaligned with outside interests, PACE supports candidates who support public education and the essential work educators do in Idaho’s public school classrooms every day.
In the run up to the 2022 primary elections on May 17, PACE members interviewed more than five dozen of candidates in several key legislative races across the state. Those listed below earned the endorsement of PACE members and IEA for their pro-education policy perspectives.
