- STILL TIME FOR CHILDREN’S FUND…
A silent auction benefitting the IEA Children’s Fund will be held both days of next week’s IEA Delegate Assembly in Boise.
DA is the most important fundraiser of the year for the Children’s Fund, which provided 373 need-based grants worth $54,689 to Idaho students and their families last year and has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars to thousands of Idaho students and their families since its inception of 1996.
Locals across the state create gift baskets for auction at DA. Popular themes include gourmet food and drinks (no hard liquor, please), educational items, family gift packs, sports and recreation items, original artwork and paintings, handmade pottery, hand-sewn blankets, gift cards for restaurants, hotels, and travel.
“There’s still plenty of time for members, locals and regions to make donation baskets for the silent auction,” said McInelly.
IEA members and others can also CLICK HERE to make a cash donation to the Children’s Fund. Donations can also be made by shopping through AmazonSmile and designating the “IEA Children’s Fund” your beneficiary. Amazon makes a small percentage donation for every eligible purchase.
