Tuesday, November 2, is Election Day in Idaho. Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Be sure to bring your photo ID this year – it’s a new state law! But if you forget your ID, you can request to sign an affidavit verifying your identity.

If you’re not yet registered to vote – or if you need to re-register – you can do so on Election Day as long as you are at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen, and a resident of your county for the past 30 days. Just bring your photo ID and proof of current address (such as a dated utility bill or bank statement) to your polling place.
Wednesday, October 27, was the last day to request an absentee ballot from your county clerk up. You must return it by 8 p.m. on Election Night. Use this tool to see if your absentee ballot has been received.
