The Task Force for Improving Education (previously known as the Governor’s Task Force) has confirmed they will be holding a series of community forums across the state during the month of April.
“This is a chance for parents, teachers, and other concerned citizens to share their education reform ideas, “ said Penni Cyr, IEA President and member of the Task Force. “We will be working closely with our members and Idaho Parents and Teachers Together to involve the public in these important meetings.”
The forums will be held at the following locations:
Wednesday, April 10: 6:30 PM at Nampa High School Little Theater, 203 Lake Lowell Ave. in Nampa
Thursday, April 11: 6:30 PM at O’Leary Middle School Auditorium, 2350 Elizabeth Blvd., Twin Falls
Monday, April 15: 6:30 PM at Meriwether Lewis Hall Room 100, LCSC, Lewiston
Tuesday, April 16: 6:30 PM at Lake Coeur d’Alene Room, NIC Student Union Building, Coeur d’ Alene
Monday, April 22: 6:30 PM at Tingey Auditorium, 1776 Science Center, Idaho Falls
Tuesday, April 23: 6:30 PM at Century High School, 7801 W. Diamondback Dr., Pocatello
Thursday, April 25: 6:30 PM Lincoln Auditorium, Idaho State Capitol, 700 W. Jefferson, Boise

The forums in CDA, Idaho Falls, and Boise will also be streamed on the internet by Idaho Public Television.
