The Idaho Education Academy in partnership with the Idaho Education Association and Northwest Nazarene University continues its partnership in 2012-13 for the fifth year to offer high-value and cost-effective continuing education credits for Idaho teachers, paraprofessionals, and other instructors. A new course this semester: What Great Teachers Do Differently, taught by Academy founder Terry Gilbert. A total of 12 courses are available.
To register, go to www.idahoeducationacademy.com, select courses and click on CLICK HERE at the top of the page. Students taking multiple courses during a semester receive a 10% refund at the end of the course.
Registration is open now, and will run until September 28. Classes run formally between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31 and continue at your own pace.
Founded in 2007, the Academy has provided correspondence and on-line courses to over 200 teachers. Credits are applicable for salary advancement and recertification.
