The Idaho Summer Institute of Best Practices has three sessions planned this summer: at Rocky Mountain Middle School in Ammon (July 26-27), Wendell High School (July 28-29), and River City Middle School in Post Falls (August 2-3). Topics will include standard based assessment, using technology in the classroom, teaching tools and schoolwide projects that work, impoving special education inclusion, and more. June 25 is the registration deadline.
The cost for each two-day session is $100, which covers two days of professional development, lunch, and snacks. The one-day cost is $65. To register or get more information (including a full list of topics by location), click here.
One credit will be available through the University of Idaho and Northwest Nazarene University. You must attend both days to get credit. Sign up and pay on the first day.
