Veteran Idaho teacher and IEA member Amy Galloway is sharing her perspective as events unfold this week at the National Education Association’s Representative Assembly in Denver. This event always includes interesting discussion and decisions, and sometimes provides substantial drama.
Amy has taught in Idaho for seven years—first in Wallace, and now in the Lakeland School District in Athol, Idaho. Teaching is her passion and she loves working with her IEA colleagues to network with other educators and to help improve the profession.
