Idaho educators, parents, and pundits are waiting to hear details of the major education overhauls that Gov. Butch Otter and state Supt. Tom Luna hinted at Monday. Luna plans to roll out his full proposal at a rare joint meeting of the House and Senate Education Committees on Wednesday.
The meeting starts at 8:30 a.m. Mountain in the Senate/House Auditorium in the West Wing of the Statehouse in Boise. It will be streamed live on Idaho Public Television’s Legislature Live website. (Click on the “Auditorium” link.) The IEA Hotline will provide live blogging reports from Wednesday's meeting, as well as commentary and links to news coverage later in the day.
If you get the Hotline via the daily Feedburner email, you will get all of the day’s posts in one package on Wednesday evening, or you can follow along live as the posts are made on the Hotline blog. To sign up for the daily Feedburner email, use the link on the right side of this page.
