The Idaho State Board of Education invites all educators to attend an important summit to work on the state’s roadmap for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education that will help better prepare Idaho students for the jobs of the future.
For several years, education stakeholders have been meeting regularly to assess the programs and progress for STEM education in Idaho. The next step is to develop a strong K-20 plan for STEM education, which will be an integral part of the state’s goal to develop an education system that prepares our students to compete globally in an “innovation economy.”
The 2012 STEM Summit is set May 8-9 in Boise. Get more details and register here.
