Happy holidays!
The NEA Foundation is offering an awesome opportunity to engage in global learning that we thought you should know about. You can give your students (and yourself!) the world by applying for the 2019 NEA Foundation Global Learning Fellowship.
This yearlong, fully-funded, cohort-based professional development program provides educators with a blend of online, peer, and field-based learning opportunities to prepare themselves and their students for global citizenship. It is available exclusively to active NEA K-12 classroom teachers. It is an opportunity to join with a cohort of fellow educators to explore education on a global stage, participate in professional development and ultimately visit school systems in another country. The current 2018 Global Learning Fellows will be visiting South Africa in the summer.
If this opportunity intrigues and excites you—apply! With the holidays upon us, and less than eight weeks before the Feb. 5, 2018 application deadline, now is the perfect time to apply for this amazing global learning journey. Early applications are encouraged, so apply soon!
Not for you? Please share this with other educators you know. To help, we’ve created a promotional toolkit with cut and paste samples you can use to spread the news by emails/website, Facebook, and Twitter.
