Matt Compton, IEA’s associate executive director, represented IEA members recently at a meeting of the Idaho State Commission for Education Excellence, which meets regularly to discuss how the state can make substantive improvements in education, particularly during and after the pandemic.
At last Friday’s meeting they discussed:
- District Continuous Improvement Plans, including plans for literacy, math, and English language arts
- Additional resources districts may need to achieve goals outlined in their continuous improvement plans
