Superintendent Luna will present the third portion of his education revamp package to members of the House Education Committee on Tuesday morning.
Chairman Bob Nonini (R-Post Falls) signaled he will not take public testimony on this bill. Instead, as with the Senate hearing on this bill, only education stakeholders will be allowed an opportunity to testify on SB 1184.
When the previous version of this bill was heard in the Senate last month, the public did get to weigh in. However, House committee members will not be afforded the same opportunity to hear what the public has to say on this third piece of the Luna plan.
