The 2014 Idaho Legislature begins Monday, January 6. Gov. Butch Otter will deliver his 2014 State of the State and Budget Address in the House chambers of the Capitol in Boise on that day. Traditionally, his address is broadcast live on Idaho Public Television and it is streamed line online via Idaho Legislature Live.

This session, public schools will continue to be a topic of discussion. The Idaho Core Standards, the Governor’s Task Force recommendations, and education funding are all expected to garner a great deal of discussion this session.
