Celebrate Valentine’s Day by attending a public hearing of the Joint Finance and Appropriations Committee from 8:00-10:30 on Friday, February 14. For only the third time in our state’s history, JFAC is providing the public an opportunity to weigh in on the issues they believe should receive funding priority. Since education is the largest piece of the Idaho state budget, and funding has been cut significantly in recent years, education funding will be at the forefront of committee discussions and decision-making.
Can’t make it to the hearing? You can still share your thoughts with the committee members. Here is a list of the House and Senate members of JFAC. Please contact them and share your thoughts and recommendations for funding Idaho’s public schools.
