The Joint Finance and Appropriations Committee will be holding a public listening session on Friday, February 14 from 8-10:30 AM. The meeting will be held in the Lincoln Auditorium, but you don’t need to be present to share your thoughts with lawmakers.
Every decision about how to spend the our state’s revenues begins with this joint committee. The February 14th meeting will mark only the third time in Idaho history that JFAC has asked the public to weigh in on where to focus our state’s funding priorities.
Should Idaho increase public school funding? If so, what specific areas of your local school budget need special attention? This is your opportunity to share your views before JFAC begins the budget-setting process. It is important that legislators hear from you.
