Andy Grover, Melba Schools Superintendent, has thrown his hat into the ring for State Superintendent of Public Instruction. Grover joins Sherri Ybarra of Mountain Home, Randy Jensen of American Falls and John Enyon of Cottonwood as declared candidates for SPI in the upcoming Republican Primary. Jana Jones of Idaho Falls the only candidate who has declared on the Democrat side.
Grover has spent the last four years as the Superintendent in Melba. He has degrees from Boise State University, the University of Phoenix and the University of Idaho. His wife is a teacher in the Melba School District.
