Today, the committee of educators, parents, and allies considering a campaign to repeal the Luna laws took another step in possibly pursuing that goal: We sent a letter to the state Attorney General's office requesting that the office approve ballot titles and numbers.
This comes in the wake of learning on Thursday that the Secretary of State's Office completed a certificate of review on the initial petitions filed last Friday. It also means that we may be able to forge ahead with the petition drives to overturn Senate Bills 1108 and 1110 as soon as the second week of April, pending approval by Idaho Education Association leadership.
