AI in Education: Practical Applications and Ethical Considerations for K-12 Educators
This hands-on workshop introduces K-12 educators to artificial intelligence (AI) fundamentals, practical classroom applications, and ethical considerations, aligned with ISTE Standards for Educators and Students. This workshop empowers educators to thoughtfully integrate AI technologies while developing students’ digital citizenship and computational thinking skills. Participants will explore popular AI tools, learn implementation strategies across grade levels, and develop confidence in integrating AI technologies into their teaching practice while considering important ethical guidelines.
This class is part of the Center for Teaching and Learning Series Bite-Size Learning Series. Once you’ve attended and fully participated in 7.5 hours of class time in the Learning Series and completed the coursework, you can earn a free credit from Idaho State University.
