I first got involved with IEA as a Student Teacher and have had so many opportunities to grow as a teacher and a leader. Through free events and conferences like SPARKS and Summer Institute I have had the ability to network with and learn from hundreds of educators across the state!

Jessica Marboe2nd Year Teacher, Idaho Falls School District SPARKS Attendee and IGNITE Mentee

The support that my union provides for new teachers is absolutely amazing! Between all of the professional development and knowing that I am surrounded by the support of my peers, IEA has helped me become the teacher I am today.

It’s great to hear from other new teachers who are going through the same things I am. I LOVE the IGNITE mentor program!

IGNITE came around right when I needed it! Practical experiences, techniques, and support…what more could a new educator ask for.

I joined 25 years ago because I knew that I needed a support team that had my best interests at heart. I love how the association fights for our students and our profession

I originally joined for the liability protection. I stayed a member because of all the other great benefits. The IEA has provided me with incredible training, opportunities to make great friends, and validation of the importance of my position. The IEA and NEA have lifted me up, helped me find my voice, and unveiled my true potential. I love being a part of the IEA.
