IEA Engages Lawmakers on Kindergarten Legislation 

Lawmakers are actively considering several ways to disperse state literacy funding that increases opportunities for districts to offer full-day kindergarten.   Several kindergarten bills are expected to be introduced in the coming weeks that will determine how the $47 million increase in literacy funding recommended by Gov.
